Accounting-led audit readiness
The ledger comes first. Covrion organizes payment dates and amounts by subcontractor, then evaluates the evidence attached to those vendors.
Bring payment dates, insurance records and follow-ups into one reviewable file. See which subcontractor payments have supporting evidence for the recorded policy dates, and keep the remaining documentation questions visible.

Switch examples to see how the next review action changes.
A certificate being on file is only the starting point. Match its recorded dates to the actual payment.
Use this sample checklist to explore the next steps. No real document is being verified.
Compare the subcontractor record with the named insured on the source document. A similar trading name is a question to resolve, not proof that two entities are the same.
Next action: If names differ, record the mismatch and request clarification.
Use the policy type relevant to your review. Check the carrier, policy number and both recorded dates against the source. Keep Workers’ Comp and General Liability separate.
Next action: If a date is missing or contradictory, retain the item for review rather than filling the gap by assumption.
Describe the specific missing or conflicting information, assign a review owner and note the next action. Keep a reference to the source document in your authorized workspace.
Next action: Avoid placing tax identifiers, private documents or sensitive payment details in ordinary email.
Progress stays in this preview only and resets when you switch examples or leave the page.
Check a file’s technical format, prepare an evidence checklist or sign in to work with your records.
Example only. These dates flag a documentation question; they do not determine insurance coverage, premium, classification or carrier treatment. This preview does not save data or change workspace records.
The ledger comes first. Covrion organizes payment dates and amounts by subcontractor, then evaluates the evidence attached to those vendors.
Workers’ Comp and General Liability policy dates are stored independently, while W-9s, renewals, activity history, and audit packets stay connected to the same vendor record.
Covrion is intentionally focused on audit evidence: unsupported payment dates, expiring policies, uncertain AI extraction, missing tax documents, and the record of what your team did about them.
Traditional COI management usually focuses on collecting certificates, checking limits or endorsements, and preventing expired vendors from working. Those are valuable compliance workflows, but they do not automatically answer a year-end premium-audit question built around what you actually paid subcontractors.
Covrion links the accounting side and the evidence side without pretending to calculate your carrier’s final treatment. The result is a compact operations console for contractor owners, finance teams, bookkeepers, brokers, and administrators who need to clean up the policy-year record before an audit request turns into an emergency.
Import subcontractor payment records, review the parsed CSV first, and use duplicate-safe fingerprints to keep repeated exports from inflating spend.
Attach COIs and W-9s. Covrion extracts separate WC/GL policy fields, lets staff correct uncertain results, and records meaningful changes in the activity trail.
Use readiness, monthly exposure, data health, renewal queues, vendor dossiers, policy history, and lens-specific audit packets to work the file continuously.
Coverage gaps, renewals, document-review issues, W-9 gaps, and missing contacts land in one severity-ranked queue.
Open a vendor dossier to see the specific payment dates and amounts that fall inside or outside recorded WC/GL policy periods.
Review the source document, re-run extraction, correct fields, work renewals, and export the remaining exception rows for follow-up.

Yes. Compare a date gap, matching policy dates and missing policy dates in the interactive preview, then practice a three-step source review: match the subcontractor name, review relevant policy details and record unresolved questions. Practice progress resets when you switch examples or leave the page. Matching dates or completing the sample checklist does not verify insurance coverage. The preview does not upload, save or change business records. You can then use the free public preparation checklist or create a workspace for your own records.
Link to this questionCovrion is centered on payment-to-coverage reconciliation for insurance audit readiness. It still organizes COIs and renewals, but the primary output is supported versus unsupported subcontractor spend for the selected Workers’ Comp or General Liability audit lens.
Link to this questionNo. Covrion is recordkeeping and evidence-reconciliation software. It does not determine legal compliance, employment status, carrier classification, coverage validity, or final premium.

Link to this questionYes. Policy periods are preserved in workspace history, and a new active policy period can be started without deleting prior evidence or activity records.
Link to this questionYes. Save up to five named Exception Center views for the current policy and audit lens on this browser. Views retain filters and ordering. Duplicate a saved view to adapt a copy while preserving the original. Undo filter change restores the previous queue settings without changing evidence or exception records; row selections remain cleared. Saved views do not sync between browsers.
